Kim Jongin (Kai) 김종인 🐻 Overview
Tumblr media
Kim Jongin, stage name Kai (from the Chinese for ‘open’), is a South Korean singer, model, actor, and dancer. He is a main dancer, sub rapper, sub vocalist, center, and visual of EXO. He is also a member of the South Korean supergroup SuperM, which debuted in 2019 as a collaboration between SM Entertainment and Capitol Records in the USA.
This post is part of an effort to celebrate the accomplishments of EXO over the past 10 years and to provide tangible avenues for supporting these artists in 2022 (when they will likely be leaving SM Ent.) and beyond 🖤
Kai is widely considered to be one of the best dancers in South Korea and K-pop in general. He began to train in ballet while in third grade after he watched The Nutcracker, and started dancing when he was eight years old. After participating in the SM Youth Best Contest with the encouragement of his father, he won and signed with the company in 2007 at thirteen years old.
He debuted as a soloist in November 2020 with the release of his extended-play, Kai. As of February 2022 it has sold just under half a million copies. His second mini-album, Peaches, was released in late 2021 and inspired many trends online, including the Peaches dance challenge.
Apart from his musical career, Kai has also starred in various television dramas such as Choco Bank (2016), Andante (2017), and Spring Has Come (2018). He is also highly involved in the fashion and beauty industries. From Gucci to Bobbi Brown to YSL Beauty to Levi’s to Seoul Fashion Week, his combination of style, charm, and striking appearance, makes Jongin a widely in-demand figure whose star is only going to rise.
He has not yet enlisted in his mandatory military service, but it’s estimated he will do so by the end of 2022. In the meantime, he has been keeping incredibly busy with fashion, music, and media projects (such as EXO’s TikTok account). With a goofy, sincere, and enigmatic charisma, Jongin is one of a kind. He’s a wonderful uncle, supportive member of every project he takes part in, and he represents Kpop around the world with his signature balance of sass and enthusiasm. Please join me in celebrating EXO’s 🐻

Bts paved the way for kpop idc what anyone says no one cared about kpop until BTS
I beg to differ, maybe for the late 2010′s and performing at award shows but not for kpop as a whole. However, this is always going to be a topic that always going to be two sided. And I full on respect your opinion, because I can see where its coming from.
I’ve always felt like kpop was just a sub genre like a lot of other music, while its not mainstream and US artist will always have the upperhand in their home country kpop has a large enough following in the US, its just like that time were J-rock and J-pop was huge… btw does anyone remember Puffy AmiYumi?
I think the reason as to why it really looks like they were the ones who paved the way for kpop is because of the social media and fandom culture we have now, from 2005-2014 social media culture wasn’t like what it is today, I’m not even talking about fan interaction either, because I feel like there was way more fan interaction on twitter from the B.A.P members.
Lets see the timeline of kpop/korean artist making headlines in America
2005
Rain made headlines for being the first ever Korean artist to perform outside of Asia. He was also the first Korean artist to perform in the US, and let alone do a 2 hour concert. It’s one of the biggest Korean concert that was held in NYC. It even featured Pi Diddy, Omarion, and JoJo Levesque. This was the initial foot print that the hallyu wave had outside of Asia
2006
Rain made headlines for because Time magazine listed him as one of the 100 most influential people in the world, to that Stephen Colbert invited him on his show and they did a parody of Way to Avoid the sun.
The year that MTV made a special channel on American TV soley for kpop called MTVk
2007
Rain also again gained more american attention for being listed in People’s most beautiful people in the world
2008
Bi Rain and Joon Park both were in Speed Racer, that was a big achievement for Korean Singers… just simply being able to graze the big screen. Rain more so than Joon got a good amount of attention, he even got some American interviews
2009
Rain and Lee Joon were in Ninja Assassin. Rain made major headlines for again not only being in an American movie but this time actually staring in the movie and about how much training he did just for the movie.
This was also the same year Korean actor Lee Byun hyun had his US debut
GD at the time also got some attention after the alleged plagiarism between Heartbreaker and Right Round when Flo Rida performed with him
Wonder Girls made their American debut
Wonder Girls were the opening act for the Jonas Brothers making the Jonas brothers one of the first American artist to work with a kpop group
BoA’s eat you up was released and played everywhere
2010
Rain again made American attention by not only being nominated for an American award show but also winning MTV’s Movie Awards Biggest Badass Star beating Angelina Jolie, Chris Pine, Channing Tatum, and Sam Worthington
Will.I.Am started to work with 2ne1
2011
Bigbang gain global attention and celebrity clout after being the first kpop group nominated, attending and winning Best Global act at the MTV EMA’s beating Britney Spears in the process
2012
Fantastic Baby went viral, reaction videos were popping up left and right. Fantastic Baby even played in some stores and I believe some radio stations
Fantastic Baby was featured Glee
SNSD had their American debut
Wonder Girls made a American movie and JYP was featured in it (i know.. its cheesy)
This is the year of B.A.P’s debut where their debut album made it into the the World Album Chart at number 10 which was extremely rare at the time considering they didn’t even have a kpop section yet.
Bigbang was on the Grammy’s front page twice
Bigbang’s Alive world tour was the only full on sold out Kpop concert at the time, selling out not only in NA but SA and Europe, and were forced to add extra dates because the demand was extremely high, not to mention celebrities were showing up left and right to their tour stops
This year was also Psy’s year which did bring attention to kpop and YG ent… regardless if Gangnam Style is a joke or not
The first Kcon was created
GD also got international attention by showing up at PFW12
2013
B.A.P and Psy were featured on Grammy’s “Best of 2012″ making B.A.P the only kpop group on that page
B.A.P’s first world tour for their US dates sold out in about an hour
Little Mix decided to join in on the Hallyu wave by doing a Korean version of Wings
Will and Jaden smith met up with YG fam and Jay Park which brought attention to kpop beings that Jay wrote a song for their movie
Will.I.Am and 2ne1′s collab was released
Anna Kendrick also wanted to get in on the Hallyu wave action by meeting up with f(x)
B.A.P performed in time square generating so much attention
The year that Billboard gave themselves a kpop section because of the major Hallyu wave giving credit to B.A.P, 2ne1, and Bigbang for helping that chart exists
Justin Bieber asked GD to feature at his concert in Seoul and proceed to tweet and IG about him
Paris Hilton talked about GD being her favorite Korean artist
Paris Hilton tweeted about hanging out with GD
Barbara Palvin talked about GD
Choi Siwon went to the Met Gala
Super Junior was invited to Oxford to talk about how they helped start the hallyu wave and the kpop attention in the US
2014
Skrilex released his song featuring CL and GD
B.A.P did a nickelodeon shout out
I think this was the year that Exo got a lot of American attention too, but im not sure because im not an Exo-L
GD got attention just for showing up at Coachella
CL signed with School Boy
I am the Best was featured in a microsoft commercial
2015
Emma Stone professed her love for kpop on American TV
Fantastic Baby was featured in the Pitch Perfect trailer
I am the Best was featured in a microsoft commercial again
Hyukoh’s Come and Goes gained international attention
2016
Far East Movement worked with Chanyeol and Loco
Jaden Smith tweeted about GD being is inspiration
Baauer released a song featuring GD
Lil Yachty did his Bigbang tribute and has been know to be a fanboy of bigbang for a while
Epik High was the first Kpop group to perform at Coachella
CL performed on James Corden
I am the Best was featured in a microsoft commercial again
Hello Bitches was in a T-Moble commercial
GD got international attention for being chosen as Channels ambassador
2017
President Obama talked about the Hallyu wave and gave credit to shinee
Tablo, Rain, and Kim Taehee were invited to the Grammys
Jaden Smith tweeted about GD’s album
Jay Park signed with Roc Nation
DNCE talked about wanting to work with GD
GD got international attention for is world tour
2018
I am the Best was featured in a Kia commercial
Hyukoh’s Citizen Cane was chosen to be in the Animoji comercial
Hyukoh x Beats by Dre
Hyukoh was interviewed by Beats1
Taeyang got international attention for just getting married
I would go more into detail by just tweeting about kpop but thats too much work to look for, kpop is a fad and it comes and goes. I kind of like what Hyukoh said about the whole Hallyu Wave/BTS thing they said “I think it’s really interesting and it’s fun to watch. Because of it, I think in some aspects were are benefitting from it, that’s really great. But nothing is forever, there will be some point when K-pop won’t be as popular. But because we’re not K-pop, I hope we stay popular even when K-pop is not.“
BTS did not start the hallyu wave, nor did they pave they way. They were just the first to walk on that new path which then inspired more to do the same and they were the first to win fandom based awards.
No matter what this will always be a topic is where some OG and new kpop fans clash, so yes, BTS is helping the Hallyu wave but they didn’t create the fad. I think the real Hallyu wave starter is Rain

📰 Super Junior Talk Their K-Pop Legacy, Songwriting & 'Lo Siento
6/27/2018
Super Junior photographed at KCON 2018 NY at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Back in 2009, then-13-member Korean group Super Junior became one of that year’s biggest success stories when its single “Sorry Sorry” went viral. Over the next few years, the team became one of K-pop’s most prominent performers, and gained an international following around the globe.
They were one of the Top 10 K-pop touring acts globally between 2013-16, and were the first South Korean act to focus heavily on the Chinese market, with sub-unit Super Junior-M forming in 2007 with two additional Mandarin-speaking members. Now industry seniors who focus on a variety of entertainment fields, ranging from acting to MCing to music video producing, the boy band recently saw a career renaissance with their latest single, “Lo Siento.”
youtube
A Latin / K-pop collaboration that features Dominican-American singer Leslie Grace and production duo Play-N-Skillz, the group’s April-release showed that Super Junior still has what it takes to lead K-pop's way into new markets: The single went to No. 13 on the Latin Digital Song Sales chart, the first ever Korean song to appear on a Latin music-associated Billboard chart. In an industry where, until recently, careers for idol pop acts rarely exceeded a decade, SuJu has once again reasserted their worth as one of the most impactful Korean artists internationally.
Super Junior’s career growth has chronologically been in-line with the waxing and waning of K-pop’s popularity globally: “Sorry Sorry” was one of several hits in 2009 that spurred new interest in Korean pop culture internationally, fronting Hallyu or the Korean wave, in the late ‘00s and early ‘00s. Now “Lo Siento” comes at a time when more Korean music than ever before is appearing on American charts.
“When we first debuted, this word ‘K-pop’ it wasn’t such a big phenomenon as it is now,” group leader Leeteuk (Park Jungsoo) tells Billboard ahead of their performance at KCON 2018 NY on June 23. “But when we started to get really popular with ‘Sorry Sorry,’ K-pop as a whole became such a huge sensation. We want to continue to grow as a group, so that when the public thinks ‘K-pop,’ Super Junior becomes a household name that is very much relevant to ‘K-pop.’”
youtube
The rise of "Despacito" and other Spanish-language music in the global mainstream made Super Junior and their label, SM Entertainment, believe that the time was right for a Latin pop-inspired track. Performed in Korean, Spanish, and English, "Lo Siento" is the most expansive crossover with the Latin world that K-pop has seen as of yet. "Because it’s something new, there may have been some things that weren’t perfect," reflects Leeteuk. "But as we try new things, we feel, as a group, that we’ll continue to grow and become a lot stronger."
According to Grace, who performed with Super Junior at the east coast KCON event last weekend, “Lo Siento” gave her the opportunity to, “Live firsthand the fact that music has no barriers,” and get an eye-witness look at what K-pop and its global audience is like. She performed alongside Super Junior throughout the Latin American stops of their recent Super Show 7 world tour, during which she had her own set midway through each concert.
While talking, it's clear that Grace and the six members of Super Junior at KCON -- the group’s seventh currently active member Kim Heechul was unable to attend -- have learned much from one another, despite the language barrier; during the interview, barely a sentence gets out of anyone’s mouth without Grace or a member of Super Junior commenting on one another’s response, often poking fun at one another and referencing inside jokes.
According to the six, Grace even has a favorite Super Junior song: “One More Chance,” off of last year’s Play album. Co-written by Lee Donghae, the Super Junior member cites her enthusiasm for the song as one of the motivators behind his desire to keep writing music for the group. “The members really liked this song, Leslie actually says it’s her favorite song as well, and the fans really enjoyed it, so it makes me feel like I need to keep continuing to work really hard and write more, better songs,” Lee explains.
youtube
According to Leeteuk, Super Junior feels an obligation as a veteran act to keep pushing forward with their career in new and novel ways, in order not only to remain relevant, but also to continue propelling K-pop’s growth for the next generation of younger K-pop stars. “Not much has changed since our debut days and the debut of current idols,” he said. “When we look to them, we think that we need to try harder as well, because these kids look to us and think, ‘Oh, we want to succeed like Super Junior.’ And so in order to keep that, we have to continue to succeed as a group as long as possible.”
Though all of Super Junior’s members are well in their early or mid-30s, the group has no plans of slowing down anytime soon. “Rather than it being a long time for us having been around, we think that there’s even a longer time for us to continue to perform together as a group,” says Leeteuk.
The idea of moving forward with their career while still maintaining their typical Super Junior style and exuberance radiated from the team throughout KCON 2018 NY, where they were the closers of the first night’s concert at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.  With a set that incorporated a medley of their hits and their newer songs, Super Junior’s six members showed their consummate skill as performers to finish off the show in a high-energy manner that got the whole audience excited.
They may no longer be juniors anymore, but as the crowd danced and cheered along to the inspirational lyrics of concert closer “Miracle” -- the ebullient pop track opens with the declaration, “Life couldn’t get better” -- it was apparent that the 13-year-old act is very much still one of K-pop’s super stars.(c)

KANYE WEST & LIL PUMP FT. ADELE GIVENS - I LOVE IT [3.36] #canceled
Alfred Soto: Well, it's short and samples Adele Givens. [3]
Thomas Inskeep: I'm not actually offended by this, like I expected I might be; this feels like a return to old-school, 2000s Kanye, who wasn't afraid to be silly and ridiculous. And this is more ridiculous than offensive to my ears. What it's most reminiscent of is his 2007 "remix" of Rich Boy's "Throw Some D's," which West flips to talk about breast implants. Because of course the future husband of Kim K. would do that, right? The bassline on "I Love It" is phat (whether stolen or not), Lil Pump is fairly irrelevant, and Kanye's verse is stoopid. The smartest thing about "I Love It" -- besides clocking in at just over two minutes -- is the Adele Givens sample that opens and closes it. This is a throwaway, but it's preferable to ye, put it that way. [6]
Joshua Copperman: Contrary to popular belief, which speculates Kanye has lost touch with What People Want and also Reality, it turns out he's been in touch all along. It's just not with the adult world, but the always robust edgy middle school one. Hooking up with Lil Pump for a video inspired by Roblox, with lines like "I'm a sick fuck I like a quick fuck" primed for humorless Minecraft rewrites and 10-hour editions? That's not (only?) desperate, that's outright savvy. It's somewhat like Eminem's pivot to earnest pop-rap on Recovery, with the opposite approach toward the same demographic. This will probably be all the rage at summer camps next year. Only this pairing can make something so tasteless it wraps back around to harmless. Bonus point for the way Lil Pump attempts to fit the word "ignorant" into his flow, a flow that cannot hold more than two syllables. [6]
Anthony Easton: Who doesn't like having their dick sucked? I mean, that's not some shocking thing, is it anymore? Since when is cocksucking and dirty talk scandalous? Seriously. [4]
Cédric Le Merrer: Sorry, not my kind of stupid. [0]
Jacob Sujin Kuppermann: Lil Pump is focused by Kanye's presence (and production job, which, even though it's just "Fade" again, is far better than anything Pump has ever rapped on) but what Kanye gets from this pairing (other than chart success) is less clear. Like most of his 2018 raps, Ye seems unconcerned with anything that resembles coherence-- and while the whole spoken interlude and repetition routine works better on a song that's inherently jokey, it's still largely a waste of time. At least Adele Givens gets a check off this. [5]
Taylor Alatorre: Using a data set consisting only of this song, you could write the sentence "Lil Pump is a better lyricist than Kanye" and be 100% accurate. "Like a lighter, bitch, we ignant" is the kind of studiously dumb shit that forms the lifeblood of Twitter virality, while "sick fuck / quick fuck" is the half-formed thought you type into a fast-moving Twitch chat and immediately regret after doing so. (It's the latter which has actually gone viral, of course, because we live in a society.) Another contrast: where Lil Pump is focused on making his crudeness as pleasant to the ear as possible, Kanye remains committed to the project of extrapolating his basest impulses onto all aspects of his music. This can still turn up gold sometimes - in this case the airtight production - but mostly it just sounds drained of any forward momentum, an artistic dead-end. If this is what the greatest rap genius of my generation wants to do with his talents, all hail our new SoundCloud overlords. [5]
Tobi Tella: Points for something resembling sex positivity, and that amazing Adele Givens sample. Points off for being one of the most inane things I've ever heard and another desperate move in Kanye's desperate spiral. Remember when we all still thought he was a genius? [2]
Maxwell Cavaseno: Truly a turn of events when you spend a majority of a rapper's verse asking to nobody in the room, in rhetorical despair "Hey, can y'all pull back that Lil Pump verse?". Unfortunately, such is the case of 2018 Kanye. [3]
Joshua Minsoo Kim: A half-hearted quickie. [3]
Nortey Dowuona: Lumpy, bouncy bass slides in under Adele Givens' admittedly funny joke about lazy male sex as limp, lazy drums push up Lil Pump's bored, "done in 20 minutes" raps. THERE IS NOTHING ELSE. NOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHGINGNOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHTINGNOTHINGNOTHING NOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHING [0]

Jay-Z Takes on the Super Bowl
A few years ago, the National Football League approached Jay-Z about performing at the Super Bowl halftime show. To perform “Run This Town,” he was asked if he would bring Rihanna and Kanye West, who appear on the track, along with him.
“Of course I would have,” Jay-Z said, “but I said, ‘No, you get me.’ That is not how you go about it, telling someone that they’re going to do the halftime show contingent on who they bring. I said forget it. It was a principle thing.”
Then, last year, the Super Bowl was in Atlanta, a global center of hip-hop — and the N.F.L. booked the pop rock band Maroon 5 as the headliner.
It certainly looked like the N.F.L. needed help. Robert K. Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots and the powerful chairman of the N.F. L.’s media committee, reached out to Jay-Z to discuss.
“The problem with the N.F.L. is you all think hip-hop is still a fad when hip-hop has been the dominant music form around the world for 20 years,’” Jay-Z said to him.
And it came off, at best, as ignorance from a league of 32 teams, only two of which are owned by people of color, employing 28 white head coaches, and an athletic labor force that is more than 70 percent black.
Mr. Kraft was convinced, and persuaded the N.F.L. commissioner, Roger Goodell, to meet with him and Jay-Z in Los Angeles.
The outcome: a partnership between the N.F.L. and Roc Nation, Jay-Z’s sprawling company, that gives Jay-Z influence over the league’s most important music events, including the halftime show.
This makes it the season of Roc Nation. Last weekend, the Grammys were hosted by Alicia Keys, a Roc Nation client. Roc Nation’s annual Grammys brunch brought together its artists and clients like Rihanna and DJ Khaled with Jay-Z and Beyoncé.
This weekend’s far-more-consequential marquee event, the Super Bowl LIV halftime show at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., will star Shakira, a Roc Nation client, along with Jennifer Lopez.
The deal also gives Jay-Z, 50, a hand in “Inspire Change,” the N.F.L.’s new initiative concerning “education and economic advancement, police and community relations, and criminal justice reform,” according to the N.F.L.’s promotional materials. Roc Nation has asked Mr. Goodell to commit the league to spending $100 million over the next 10 years on social justice outreach and causes.
“Roger is amazing and we couldn’t be doing this without him,” said Desiree Perez, the chief executive of Roc Nation. “He has been so supportive of us and is critical to us making change at the N.F.L.” (Mr. Goodell was not available for an interview, and a spokeswoman for the N.F.L. declined to be quoted for this article.)
This Super Bowl, amid the world’s most expensive advertising, the N.F.L. will sponsor the broadcast of a public service video, one of a series that tells the stories of black men and boys killed by police.
When this partnership was announced, it was received by some as a betrayal of Colin Kaepernick, the former quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers who first declined to stand during the national anthem in 2016 as a protest against social injustice, especially the deaths of African-Americans at the hands of police. He left the team at the end of the season and hasn’t been hired by an N.F.L. team since. (Mr. Kaepernick’s lawyer declined to answer questions.)
Like many black leaders in entertainment and media, Jay-Z had rallied publicly behind Mr. Kaepernick. And yet, two years later, Jay-Z was doing a deal with Mr. Kaepernick’s foe. In a locker room interview after the deal was announced, Eric Reid, a safety for the Carolina Panthers who took part in a lawsuit with Mr. Kaepernick against the league, called Roc Nation’s deal “kind of despicable.”
Jay-Z said he can live with the criticism if he is able to use the N.F.L.’s platform to convince white football fans that they too should be concerned about police brutality. “As long as real people are being hurt and marginalized and losing family members, then yes, I can take a couple rounds of negative press,” he said.
Roc Nation’s role as a record label and management company for clients who mostly have grown up poor and disadvantaged, and its growing focus on real-time response to criminal justice reform and abuses, has led to this moment with the N.F.L., he said.
Now is the time, he said, for the conversation needs to move beyond only Mr. Kaepernick. “No one is saying he hasn’t been done wrong,” Jay-Z said. “He was done wrong. I would understand if it was three months ago. But it was three years ago and someone needs to say, ‘What do we do now — because people are still dying?’”
Roc Nation has not said how much money it stands to make from the deal. “We didn’t say, ‘Let’s go make some money off the N.F.L.,’” Jay-Z said.
And Jay-Z may be the frontman of the N.F.L. deal, but it’s a companywide effort. Inside Roc Nation, the executives say the higher purpose is to get inside the establishment to bring representation of color and try to foster a nationwide cultural dialogue.
“I understand that some say, ‘Why do you want to sit at that table?’” said Tyran Smith, known as TyTy, a founder of the company and its president of A&R. “I’m a curious person. They’re not going to poison my food, I hope. I’m going to learn something and I’m going to share it.”
Juan Perez, the president of Roc Nation Sports, the company’s athletic management division, said: “Somebody has to kick in the door and get shot first. We’re that company. We’re not afraid. We’ve been doing it our whole lives.”
Wealth Creation as Social Justice
Jemele Hill, a journalist who covers the intersection of race, sports, gender and politics for The Atlantic, trusts that Roc Nation and Jay-Z are well intentioned in trying to bring attention to social justice by relying on the popularity of the N.F.L. — but she doesn’t trust the league to address its own issues of lack of diversity among its owners and head coaches.
“I feel like Jay-Z is giving them way too much of his cultural capital that they have not earned,” Ms. Hill said. “There has always been this tension of, ‘Will progress be made from working from the inside?’ The things that Jay-Z is trying to accomplish, he doesn’t need the N.F.L. to do.”
The company believes its mission in representing artists and athletes is to make money change hands with a purpose. Roc Nation sees this as a social justice function.
“Focusing on social justice is the nature of how we grew up,” Jay-Z said. “The people we sign — 75 percent of them, at least — grew up in poverty. When one of us gets signed, it doesn’t end our connection to the ’hood or the streets. Our lives are still there, our cousin still needs a lawyer, our mother still can’t make the rent. This is real life.”
He cites Meek Mill, a Roc Nation management client, who was arrested in Philadelphia in 2007, when he was 19 on gun and drug charges. “Meek’s got eight guys who could pull him back,” Jay-Z said. “I said, ‘Meek, you are going to go back with them, or you need to bring them with you.’ So he reaches a hand back and pulls them with him. That’s social justice: It’s how we help a person help their community and help themselves.”
Meek Mill’s 2017 appearance before a judge about a probation violation, dating back to those 2007 charges, helped fuel Roc Nation’s increased focus on advocacy.
When the judge ordered the rapper to return to prison for two to four years for the probation violation, Ms. Perez, Jay-Z and Michael Rubin, the founder of the sports merchandise company Fanatics and a close friend of Meek Mill, engineered a two-year effort in which they spent $7 million to fight for his release.
The experience galvanized Mr. Rubin. He raised more than $60 million to create the Reform Alliance, with Jay-Z, Mr. Kraft, Meek Mill and others. It works to overhaul the probation system. Roc Nation administers the organization through its philanthropy division.
What Jay-Z saw was rich white men like Mr. Rubin and Mr. Kraft working to fix a broken system after seeing injustice up close. It made him think more about what Roc Nation could do.
First, You Build a Business
In 2008, Jay-Z decided to start a boutique label and artist representation company. He, Mr. Smith and Jay Brown, a onetime intern for Quincy Jones, took a $50 million investment from Live Nation, a giant in the business of music performance. Roc Nation has many divisions but one mission, said Mr. Brown, its chairman. “We are in business to create opportunities for people we work with and represent,” he said.
From the get-go, Roc Nation had a music publishing division. “We signed writers and producers, and then we could control the song,” Jay-Z said, citing early relationships with artists and producers like Bruno Mars and Philip Lawrence. “We could place the song with any artist, and we were making money.”
The label itself has artists including J. Cole and Rihanna. But Roc Nation’s founders were well aware of the industry’s history of taking financial advantage of musical artists, so an artist’s management division came quickly.
Ms. Perez, is Jay-Zs right hand. (“Left hand, actually,” he said.) She was the operations manager of Jay-Z’s 40/40 nightclubs, including the location in Las Vegas, perhaps the first minority-owned establishment on the Vegas Strip. She is a tough negotiator and a strategic thinker, and helped artists who were struggling financially to reconcile debts and budget their income. (Rihanna famously sued her accountants in 2009.)
And because athletes mixed with musicians and social chitchat turned to money talk, with athletes routinely asking Jay-Z for advice on contract deals and investments, he looked to another old friend, Mr. Perez, who is also Ms. Perez’s husband, and had him start a management division for athletes.
Roc Sports opened in 2013 and now represents athletes including the N.B.A. player Kyrie Irving, the N.F.L. player Leonard Fournette and the W.N.B.A. player Skylar Diggins-Smith. (Kim Miale, the head of Roc Sports’s football division, said that she and her peers have no involvement in the Roc Nation N.F.L. deal.)
Mr. Perez says the pitch is an explanation to young athletes, many of whom were raised in or near poverty, that Roc Nation is evidence of what can be achieved through hard work but also through shrewd choices.
“My job is to give them a foundation and an understanding of how to stay rich and how not to make the same mistakes we probably made when we were young, drinking champagne and all the car stuff,” Mr. Perez said. “We’re going to try our best to make sure you grow as a man. This is a lifestyle. This is a brotherhood. This is a culture.”
That was the draw for Andrew Thomas, an offensive tackle at University of Georgia who declared he will enter the N.F.L. draft this year, represented by Roc Sports. “I’m able to talk to the O.G.s of the company,” Mr. Thomas said. “They teach soldiers how they become kings.”
In the greater Jay-Z-verse, there is the champagne and the cognac. There is a street wear line. There is the Roc Nation philanthropy arm, run by Dania Diaz, which helps administer foundations created by Roc Nation clients and execute on their philanthropic aspirations, like the school that the baseball star Robinson Cano built in the Dominican Republic.
There is Roc Nation Unified, a new division that provides strategic consulting to entertainment companies, venues, consumer brands and sports leagues around the world, run by twin brothers, Brett and Michael Yormark.
“At the core, we have one of the greatest artists of all times who is also a marketing genius. Roc Nation is rooted in an authentic artist space: driving rights for the artists, teaching entertainers to be entrepreneurs,” said Michael Rapino, the chief executive of Live Nation. “We can all talk the talk, but Jay-Z can walk the walk.”
And while that may be true, the glue that holds the whole company together is Ms. Perez. She has a massive office on the ninth floor of Roc Nation’s office in New York, where she is the first to arrive and the last to leave as she troubleshoots for artists, negotiates shoe deals for athletes and tells basically everyone in the extended orbit what’s what.
“You don’t want to see her mad,” one employee told me; I believed it.
Building to Social Justice
With all that built, there was an opportunity to make change. Jay-Z wanted an entire division within the company to be dedicated to it.
Team Roc got its start in August 2018, when Jay-Z dropped in on a Roc Nation staff meeting in New York. Talk turned to news of a conflict at a Brooklyn nail salon, in which Asian employees attacked black customers. “They were talking about Brooklyn, where I’m from, and I was triggered by that,” Jay-Z said.
“‘We should have a division where we can talk to things in real time — give money, get lawyers, try to help,’” Jay-Z said at the meeting. “If something happens in Mississippi, we will get Yo Gotti,” who is a client from Memphis. “If something happens in Philly, we’ll get Meek involved.”
Ms. Perez is in charge of Team Roc. In the last 18 months, it has organized protests outside a mall in Tennessee where a black teenager was arrested after refusing to remove the hood of his sweatshirt from his head at a mall; rallied behind a black sixth-grader in Florida who was suspended for refusing to say the Pledge of Allegiance; and supported a homeless man in Arizona violently arrested after stealing socks.
For much of the past month Ms. Perez has been consumed by calls with politicians and lawyers to address lawless and inhumane conditions in the Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman, where nine inmates have died since late December.
She scrolled through her phone; it showed pictures of inmates with multiple stab wounds, people sleeping on floors amid excrement and rats, a bloody body that appeared to be lifeless. “These are human beings,” she said. “Human beings! This is crazy. How is this America?”
In January, with Ms. Perez working behind the scenes, Jay-Z and Yo Gotti filed a lawsuit against Mississippi prison officials. Part of Yo Gotti’s job was to keep it in the media and social media spotlight as he made his rounds to promote his new album.
On Jan. 27, the governor of Mississippi, Tate Reeves, called for the closure of Unit 29, where many of the deaths have occurred.
This work makes Roc Nation hope its efforts with the N.F.L. may defy the skeptics and help further both Jay-Z’s and Mr. Kaepernick’s missions. “We are two adult men who disagree on the tactic but are marching for the same cause,” Jay-Z said.
For the family members of the young black men killed by police whose stories the N.F.L. and Roc Nation are promoting, the conversation transcends celebrities, football players and social media spats.
“I don’t think a lot of people understand that we just don’t want any more members to this club,” said Michelle Kenney. Her son, Antwon Rose II, was 17 when he was shot and killed by a police officer in East Pittsburgh, Pa., in 2018. The officer was tried on homicide charges and acquitted.
A video about Antwon’s life and death was released in December. “If there is anything we can do to prevent membership from going up by one person,” Ms. Kenney said, “we’re out here and we’re willing to do it.”

Pornhub has 80 million daily users and more pornographic videos than any other site in the history of the internet, and now it wants to be Playboy.
More specifically, what Playboy was in the ’90s. “A lifestyle brand, a fashion brand,” explains Alex Katz, co-founder of the Madrid-based creative agency Officer & Gentleman, which has been leading the brand strategy for Pornhub for the past four years.
Co-founder Javi Iñiguez jumps in: “The girls were wearing sweatshirts and purses with the Playboy bunny even though they might not have seen a Playboy magazine in their lives.”
Fair enough. Who doesn’t want the cultural clout of Hugh Hefner, literally everything else about Hugh Hefner aside?
It may be a small shock to discover that Pornhub even has a brand strategy, but it makes sense. The company has spent the past several years doing what anybody would do once they become superrich: buying their way to coolness. And, by extension, buying their way to women, whom the company has historically had a hard time appealing to.
I mean, who doesn’t see the connection between lifestyle brands and chicks?
Pornhub’s first website launched in 2007 and was acquired by the MindGeek conglomerate in 2010, at which time it merged with YouPorn, RedTube, and Xtube to become the Pornhub network. From there, it easily consolidated power to become the biggest porn distribution platform ever, but its new challenge was to become a brand that anyone would talk about out loud, and just maybe, someday, wear on a T-shirt.
Models from the ’90s-inspired Playboy fashion line launched last year by Joyrich. Joyrich
In 2014, the network held a contest asking advertising and creative professionals to submit concepts for safe-for-work, PG-13 Pornhub ads that could run in traditional media spots. The move was a reaction to a year of mainstream misses and only two hits: In 2013, Pornhub finagled a centerpiece montage (with clips handpicked by VP Corey Price) in the heart of the porn-focused Joseph Gordon-Levitt rom-com Don Jon. It also nabbed dozens of headlines in outlets from BuzzFeed to SBNation when CBS refused to air a 20-second, completely innocuous ad spot during the Super Bowl. By the time anyone bothered to point out that Super Bowl ads are only sold in 30-second increments, the scam had done its work.
Thanks to the contest, Pornhub buddied up with both Officer & Gentleman and Vendetta Studios, an LA-based viral video production house headed by Dave Lehre — an anxiety-inducing internet personality best known for one of the first viral YouTube clips, “MySpace: the movie,” and more recently for an elaborate stunt in which he fashioned himself into “the first white American K-pop star.”
For Pornhub, Lehre made a litany of viral videos, mostly ads for Pornhub’s new product releases: a VPN service, a “BaDoink” VR headset, a $1,000 robotic twerking butt, and so on.
“Make the brand accessible to the world” was the brief, Lehre says. Make it PG-13; make it live on YouTube; make it shareable. “When we came in, it was all potential. Nobody had tapped the power of Pornhub.” He pauses. “Damn, that sounds epic.”
Officer & Gentleman’s first projects were also tech-related: videos for a cryptocurrency called Titcoin and a (real) piece of wearable tech that would recharge your phone while you masturbated. It was called Wankband. At Christmastime last year, noting the success of gift cards for streaming services like Spotify and Netflix, they started selling Pornhub Premium gift cards. “We thought it would be the perfect Secret Santa present at workplaces and stuff like that,” Iñiguez says.
(Please don’t give a Pornhub Premium gift card to anyone you work with.)
So, is Pornhub … a tech company? “Depends who you ask,” Katz says, though he seems uninterested in the proposition. “But I think the brand … it’s an entertainment company. You don’t see anyone wearing Facebook shirts because they’re cool.”
Right, right. Cool, we’re doing cool here.
“[In online porn], everyone has the same product, so the only way you can differentiate yourself is by building a brand,” Katz explains. “We only want to create advertising that can go viral.” That means safe-for-work content. “[Pornhub] has enough porn; they need content that’s shareable.”
“Everything has to go viral,” Iñiguez points out. So you throw a lot of shit at the wall to see what sticks. The list of what Pornhub has not been willing to try in the past four years would probably be more expedient, but here we are.
It launched its own lube brand, then the world’s largest lube slide. (One of Lehre’s projects, of which he says, “They didn’t come to set, they just said ‘Oh, we have these 5-gallon drums of lube we can send over.’ We got this huge slide. They sent all these porn stars to hang out and slide down it. That was a magic day.”)
“[In online porn], everyone has the same product, so the only way you can differentiate yourself is by building a brand”
At one point, the company started a record label and hosted music video premieres for California rapper Mykki Blanco and Michigan metal band King 810. It hosted a porn film festival in New York, featuring soft-core entries from Miley Cyrus and James Franco. It made an “adult adult coloring book” featuring X-rated sketches from Instagram and Tumblr artists, which it then sold exclusively at the Think Tank Gallery in LA, Verso Books in Milan, and the menswear boutique Off the Hook in Montreal. It launched a line of sex toys, then commissioned Spanish electro-pop band Perlita to create a song from sex toy noises.
The high-end Italian denim company Diesel became the first fashion brand to advertise on a porn site in January 2016, kicking off a much-covered official partnership with Pornhub. Creative director Nicola Formichetti told Dazed, “We all go on websites like Pornhub, you know? So before you start jerking off maybe you can stop and look at our new pants.” For New York Fashion Week in 2017, Hood by Air sent a Pornhub-inspired line down the runway (models wore their hair stylized as if it were coated in semen, and jackets reading “HUSTLER” and “NEVER TRUST A CHURCH GIRL”).
In September that year, the New York streetwear brand Richardson announced a capsule collection featuring Pornhub-branded hoodies, hats, swimsuits, jackets, and T-shirts — one featuring porn actress, poet, and Pornhub spokesperson Asa Akira, and another featuring the flags of countries in which Pornhub is banned. Two months later, the New York outerwear brand Moose Knuckles debuted a limited-edition Pornhub bomber jacket that was sold through the Rihanna-blessed SoHo streetwear staple VFILES.
VFILES is also beloved by Pornhub’s most important woman: Kim Kardashian.
Last summer, the team stopped by the De Re Gallery in Los Angeles for “Make Me Famous,” the first exhibition by “professionally provocative” Instagram-famous twins Allie and Lexi Kaplan — just to pick up a painting of the Kim Kardashian–Ray J sex tape, which is now prominently displayed in the company’s LA office.
Pornhub loves Kim. When she was robbed at gunpoint later that year, Pornhub offered $50,000 “in exchange for information leading to [the] arrest and conviction of criminals who robbed Kim Kardashian.” The press release said that everyone at Pornhub was “deeply saddened” by the “horrible incident,” and reminded the world that Kim Kardashian’s sex tape with Ray J “remains the most viewed video on Pornhub with 110,198,725 views and counting.”
“We consider her to be a member of the Pornhub family,” Pornhub VP Corey Price tells Vox. “As such, we wanted to extend a helping hand and do all that we could to help bring the wrongdoers to justice.” Ultimately, the police didn’t need Pornhub’s help, but it’s a nice gesture. The video now has more than 143 million views!
Pornhub hosted a sci-fi art installation in LA’s De Re Gallery last summer. Maggie West/Pornhub
This June, the company sponsored an elaborate sci-fi art installation at the LA nightclub Union — handing the reins over to LA photographer and activist Maggie West (best known for her “Fluid” series, containing abstract images of blood, saliva, and semen) and New York artist Ryder Ripps (best known for creating the branding for Soylent and using the Ace Hotel’s artist residency to hire two Craigslist sex workers for a widely-reviled project called “ART WHORE”).
Then it partnered with the editorial arm of luxury fashion seller SSENSE to produce an avant-garde photo shoot and literary companion essay called “The Data of Desire,” using Pornhub analytics to figure out which sneaker brands are most fetishized in porn. (Converse, Nike, Adidas, Vans, and Yeezy, in that order.)
Then last month, Kanye West told Jimmy Kimmel he “still looks at Pornhub” and the company reached out via Twitter to offer him a lifetime subscription to Pornhub Premium. Two weeks later, he was serving as creative director for the first annual Pornhub Awards in Los Angeles, which were reportedly a disaster but came off, anyway, as a major coup.
West debuted a new music video featuring the currently incarcerated Lil Pump at the awards and brought G.O.O.D. Music signee Teyana Taylor along to perform. He dressed porn stars in the latest Yeezy collection (when he bothered to dress them at all) and arranged them onstage to accept futuristic-dildo-shaped award statues he also supposedly designed. The next day, he announced a line of Yeezy sweatshirts featuring the night’s winners, including “Nicest Tits” honoree Kendra Sunderland and “Hottest Female Ass” honoree Mia Malkova.
“Where do these [partnership] decisions come from?” Katz parrots back to me. “Well, we can’t be in mainstream spaces, so we become this outsider brand that’s doing out-there things. That’s what attracts these other brands like Richardson and Yeezy. Pornhub has an outsider quality that draws people to them.”
Here’s the rub (sorry): Per Pornhub’s own data, as of December 2017, just 26 percent of the site’s users are women.
This is not really a problem, as what Iñiguez pointed out is true: Girls didn’t have to read Playboy to buy the clothes. But it is kind of a problem, mostly because women make up a large share of the people on earth, and Pornhub has basically nowhere to go within the demographic it already serves.
So far, Pornhub has tried selling Mother’s Day–specific cardboard VR headsets, publishing site traffic insights from the day of the 2017 Women’s March, and weighing in on International Women’s Day to announce that it would change the “female-friendly” tag on its site to “popular with women.” It also pointed out that searches for Amy Schumer rose 513 percent in tandem with her Instagram post about the holiday.
“More than ever before, women are coming forward to express their desires more openly,” Price says. “And we want to provide resources to support that.”
So, this January, Pornhub debuted “F*ck Your Period.”
“There are two types of women: women who have sex on their period and women who don’t,” Katz tells me. “It’s 49 [percent] to 51,” (based on an informal Pornhub survey of its female users). With that, uh, fact in mind, Pornhub launched a campaign with the goal of explaining the health benefits of having an orgasm during your period. It made its own period calendar app and encouraged women to fill it out so that each month, they would receive a free login code for Pornhub Premium for the duration of their period. “[The goal was] to get girls to experiment with Pornhub for the first time in case they hadn’t,” Katz says. “Pornhub is a sex-friendly, female-friendly company.”
Pornhub’s cryptocurrency launch in New York. Officer & Gentleman
Yet the campaigns aimed at women are rarely the ones that blow up. In March, the site started accepting cryptocurrency as payment and had models stroll through the Financial District in Pornhub-branded ski masks, tossing plastic coins and licking the Wall Street bull’s balls. This worked: It got press.
The following month, Pornhub launched a program called “The Visionaries Director’s Club” with the aim of “[diversifying] porn production” and gave rapper Young M.A. a budget to write and produce her own pornographic short film. The company described the film in a press release, writing that it would appeal to “our progressive generation,” and adding, “While high production level lesbian content is often clearly created with the male gaze in mind, M.A’s debut film is authentic and genuine to her taste profile.”
Last month, it gave a similar budget to pansexual singer and rapper Brooke Candy, who wrote of her film, “We had the most next level crew of fine artists from all over the world and the cast of actors that I chose really had an inner beauty which they unleashed on film. It’s queer, it’s sex-positive and it’s super-hot.” This didn’t work — it got no press. But the data says that female usership of Pornhub grows every year, Price points out. So it’s fine.
As a woman who menstruates, did I know that orgasms make period cramps less painful and bleeding cycles shorter? I mean, as a woman who drinks water, did I know it keeps my organs running?
Pornhub’s brand strategy is elaborate, multifaceted, funny, and cool. It’s also as simple as a bunch of straight boys chasing what straight boys so often chase: a projection of ease and edge that makes them appealing to other boys like them, and a veneer of caring that they hope will grant them an in with women.

How far would you go to be ‘beautiful’?
I live a healthy lifestyle of working out and eating clean. I’m not bodybuilder toned, but I’m satisfied with my figure. To stay motivated I follow so-called ‘fit chicks’ doing exercises on Instagram. But have you seen how these women look? Tanned bodies, big booties and superbly applied makeup frequently pass by.
Many followers see these ‘fitness goddesses’ as role models and the unrealistic way they look as the beauty ideal. Luckily I am able to brush off the insecurity and replace it with reality. But are you?
Baby body builders Loads of girls try to copy the way these women look. As a hostess at a gym I often deny access to young girls. You probably know them: girls with cakey foundation, spider leg lashes and long straightened hair. Could you tell me why girls this age are even that busy with their appearance these days? Who inspires them to? Physical activity is important but heavy fitness at this young age can cause injuries and impede the growth! When I was that age I swam much, for fun, not to lose weight. And how I looked? I threw my hair in a messy bun every day and just discovered an eye pencil. That was about it…
Tumblr media
pinterest.com Role models setting the tone The ‘beauty ideal’ has changed many times through the years. A beauty ideal doesn’t arise out of nowhere. A standard is being formed by a role model with scads of influence. Do you remember Marilyn Monroe? She caused feminine curves becoming the beauty ideal in the sixties. Super model Twiggy was the reason why everyone wanted to be ultra skinny in the eighties. But who caused today’s beauty ideal of overdone makeup, defined abs and big buttocks? This wasn’t only one person... Is has been a whole group, a popular family with loads of influence on television and social media, we all know them: the Kardashians. Kim K says it’s OK Who exactly are the Kardashians? Why and how did they become this prominent? Do you know what their talents are? I don’t... Producer Ryan Seacrest apparently did! He offered Kim Kardashian her own reality show in 2007. The show was originally intended to publicly share how she was breaking through in the entertainment business. But viewers loved her family! Failing marriages, sister fights, it couldn’t get any juicier. ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ had millions off viewers and fans. The family had the opportunity to spread stupid pronunciations and beliefs daily. And boy oh boy they sure did….
Tumblr media
                                                    123movies.is
Army of clueless followers Every word the family said was being heard, shared and worst: believed! The family has a huge reach because of their army of followers on their flawless social media pages. Kim K alone has 90 million fans on Instagram! Sister Kourtney Kardashian shared a genius video on how to eat a Kit Kat in layers. This way it will take you longer, which means that you will eat less. Sounds ridiculous, doesn’t it? Yet the video was a huge success with more than 1,5 million views! Kourtney even made a part two with a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. And did you know that Kendall Jenner gets paid 300.000 dollars for every photo she posts on Instagram? No wonder she looks ‘perfect’ in all of them.
‘Surgery free curves’ Have you seen them before? Products inspired by the Kardashians? A horrible example of this is a tool for achieving the ultimate Kylie Jenner duck face: lip plumpers. These are little devices on which you have to suck until your lips swell up. Girls who desperately wanted to fit in the beauty standard sucked until their lips were swollen, infected and bruised. We all know hair extensions, fake nails and fake tan, but I recently saw a product that blew my mind. ‘Bootylicious, surgery free curves’. Yes indeed, push up for your ass to get the same unrealistic bums like Kim K has. Seriously, why would anyone go this far?
Tumblr media
updatetrends.com Wakeup call! Put down your contour brush and wake up, girl! The Kardashians and Jenners are millionaires! Do you honestly think they suck on bottles to get fuller lips? Of course they don’t, they get lip fillers! They also have a whole makeup team to transform them into Barbies every morning. Such a thing as one beauty standard doesn’t exist. Everyone is beautiful in their own way. A smile is the best makeup you can wear. As long as you’re happy with yourself, you’re gorgeous as well!

PILGRIMAGE ROAD TO THE 3RD TEMPLE, EXCAVATION SIGNS OF KING MESSIAH, SOLOMONS ANOINTING PLACE!
SEVERAL YEARS AGO A FRIEND FROM ISRAEL SHARED PHOTOS WITH ME OF THE STAIRCASE OR PILGRIMAGE ROAD EXCAVATION THAT LED FROM THE POOL OF SHILOACH (SILOAM) TO THE 2ND TEMPLE. THIS POOL IS WHERE JESUS SENT THE BLIND MAN TO WASH HIS EYES AFTER HE PUT THE MUD MIXED WITH HIS SPIT ON HIS EYES TO HEAL HIM OF HIS BLINDNESS. SHE ALSO SHOWED ME THE LOCATION OF THE ANOINTING OF KING SOLOMON BY ZADOK THE PRIEST BY THE RIVER GIHON, WHICH IS LIKELY THE PLACE WHERE THEY ANOINTED A KING OF THE DAVIDIC DYNASTY FOR THE FUTURE. BUT WHAT ARE THE ODDS THIS EXCAVATION IS COMPLETED AFTER 6 YEARS AT THE TIME WHEN THE THIRD TEMPLE IS ABOUT TO BE BUILT? NO COINCIDENCE, FOR THE LORD SAID THAT ALL PEOPLE WILL COME TO WORSHIP HIM ON THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES IN JERUSALEM, AND THIS IS THE PATHWAY THEY WILL LIKELY TAKE BEFORE GOING UP TO HIS TEMPLE. THERE ARE SO MANY EXCAVATIONS OVER THE LAST 150 YEARS, THAT I KNOW FOR CERTAIN, ARE SIGNS OF THE SOON RETURN OF OUR LORD & SAVIOR MESSIAH YESHUA/JESUS. IS MOSES’ MOTHER LISTED ON AN ANCIENT PAPYRUS HEBREW SLAVE LIST FROM EGYPT THAT DATES TO HER TIME BEING ONE OF TWO MIDWIVES (MIRIAM BEING THE YOUNG GIRL HELPER) THAT SAVED THE HEBREW BABY BOY’S FROM PHARAOH’S ORDERS TO DROWN THEM IN THE NILE RIVER IN THE 18TH CENTURY BC? Pentecost Shavuot Scriptures of Messiah Appearing, Bride, Trumpet, Cloud, Wedding & Rapture or Going
WE ARE ALL SPECULATING WHETHER PENTECOST OR SHAVUOT COULD BE THE TIME OF THE RAPTURE OF THE BRIDE OF MESSIAH YESHUA. SO I WANT TO SHARE THESE SCRIPTURES THAT HAVE ELEMENTS OF THE DESCENDING AND ASCENDING OF THE LORD IN THE STORY OF MENOAH AND HIS WIFE. ALSO, THE ELEMENTS OF THE LONG TRUMPET, THICK CLOUD THAT CAME DOWN ON MOUNT SINAI WHEN THE LORD CAME DOWN UPON THE MOUNTAIN TOP. THEN MOSES WENT UP, AND THE PEOPLE PREPARED TO MEET THE LORD ON THE THIRD DAY, WASHING THEIR GARMENTS. THIS REPRESENTS OUR BAPTISM WHEN WE DIE TO OURSELVES, AND ARE RAISED UP OUT OF THE WATER WITH OUR GARMENTS WASHED WHITE BY THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF MESSIAH. SHAVUOT REPRESENTS THE KETUBAH, THE MARRIAGE CONTRACT OF THE LORD WITH HIS BRIDE UNDER THE WEDDING CHUPPAH. MANY DETAILS HERE COULD ALSO MAKE THIS TIME FRAME A POSSIBILITY OF THE RAPTURE OF THE BRIDE OF MESSIAH YESHUA. I READ SOME OF THE SCRIPTURES THAT ARE READ ON THE EVE OF SHAVUOT, AND ON SHAVUOT ITSELF. IF THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS IS NOT THE TIME, MANY THINK THIS TIME OF PENTECOST HAS GREAT POTENTIAL. WHENEVER IT HAPPENS WE SHOULD BE READY AND WATCHING! THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING MY CHANNEL AND LITTLE MINISTRY WORK. TO DONATE TO MY FUND IF YOU FEEL INCLINED TO HELP GO HERE… https://www.gofundme.com/kkrococo This is my fund for wanting to save my Mom’s home of 47 years, 28 of which we spent together up until her sudden passing into heaven this past year. This is an urgent matter. I pray the LORD helps me so I do not lose Mom’s home, & can still live where I’ve taken care of things & love to be that God provided for us before she suddenly died. It’s been devastating & so hard missing my best friend!!! Thanks for your support of my work here…Hugs

New Post has been published on https://christianworldviewinstitute.com/bible-prophecies/end-time-events/end-time-topics/second-coming/king-jesus-white-horse-white-hair-angels-trumpets-of-war-shouting-by-kimberly/
KING JESUS WHITE HORSE, WHITE HAIR, ANGELS TRUMPETS OF WAR & SHOUTING BY KIMBERLY!
After my last video about my Mother’s Victory roses, I found these red Victory Roses while I was discussing why Jesus or KING Yeshua is coming on a white horse at His second coming! I tell one of the stories in my Almond Tree book about a strange event that took place when I printed some of the text out to take it outside and read it. I was sitting between two wind chimes that had large pipes. With no wind, as I read the description of Jesus as John saw Him in heaven, I was saying the words quietly but out loud. Suddenly, I felt electric current as I looked up to each chime’s clapper hitting every single pipe on the two sets of chimes at the same time ringing at Jesus physical description. Then, I later had to re-record the latter half of the video outside the next day where I carried on talking about why Jesus is coming from heaven on a white horse with His Saints following Him on white horses. I talk about Angels blowing trumpets. I hope this blesses you too. It was snowing, but incredibly, after I was inside filming (which I had to record again outside the next day), I had just stopped talking about the seventh angel sounding, and went to leave for lunch only to find it raining! The rain only did this once before last year when I asked for God to give me a sign of His power on my new Elijah prayer tallit that was about to arrive. I made a video about that miracle but here again, it rained and it never does that in January! You can see how cold it was with the snow as I started the video, but it was raining as I finished filming that day. That same snow storm is now called Harper & is expected to dump lots of snow as it heads East. God watch over everyone!
By the way, I cannot believe the loving response from some of you about me trying to save my family home that I shared so long with my precious sweet Mother who died. The amount I really need, I didn’t post because it’s pretty much impossible to save my house after the death of my Mom. It will only be possible by the hand of God! I thank you from the bottom of my heart because some of you saw this incredible true need and went with your hearts to fulfill it. You shall receive rewards & I pray a crown of righteousness from KING JESUS in heaven for caring so much!!! May God help me at this stressful time too. I am posting the link again and if people buy my book that was written over 8 years with much work, and guidance by the LORD, it helps me. God bless you all…Love Kimberly 🙂 LOVE TO YOU ALL!!! https://www.gofundme.com/kkrococo
